Internships, Residency, and Supervision
Internships
We Provide Field Supervision for masters and doctoral level students to complete coursework for degrees in clinical mental heath counseling, social work, and divinity/ministry. The FFLC accepts inquiries regarding summer internships during the months of January - March of that same year of the internship. The FFLC usually only accepts inquiries regarding full academic year practicums (running from August - May). Practicum inquiries must be made by April 30th of the same calendar year when the practicum is to begin in August of that same year. Residency
In Partnership with CareNet Counseling of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist the FFLC offers opportunities for a 2 year residency program for associate licensed marriage and family therapists, clinical mental health counselors, and clinical social workers (LMFTA, LCMHCA, and LCSWA). The residency program allows the associate level professional to train in spiritually-integrated psychotherapy while serving clients locally with the FFLC. Supervision
We Provide Clinical Supervision for Licensed Marriage and Family Associates, Licensed Clinical Social Work Associates, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Associates, and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associates. There are clinicians at our Center who are American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisors. We have licensed clinical social workers who are able to provide supervision to LCSW-A clinicians. We also have clinicians who are approved by the NC Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors to provide supervision for LCMHC-A clinicians. We even have clinicians who provide supervision for Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist-Associates.
