About Us

The Fayetteville Family Life Center (FFLC) has provided spiritually-integrated psychotherapy and pastoral counseling to individuals and families of Cumberland and surrounding counties since 1974. As a church-related, 501(C)(3) non-profit ministry, we are able to continue to provide counseling services to the community because of the generous support we receive from our partners. The FFLC is staffed by licensed mental health professionals, theologically trained, who have also received specialized instruction in spiritually-integrated psychotherapy. The counselors at the FFLC help neighbors of our community with issues such as depression, spiritual struggles, poor school performance, marriage issues, ADHD, grief, divorce, anxiety, anger management, as well as other counseling concerns. Some that seek services here pay a fee or have insurance that may be billed. The FFLC partners with CareNet Counseling of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston Salem, NC, to administratively process these insurance cases. Others seek services and do not have insurance nor the ability to pay full fees for their care. The FFLC does all it can to ensure that all who would like to receive counseling may do so. And so, the FFLC enlists helps from local friends to cover other expenses, such as building rent, cost of administrative support, utilities, supplies, and client aid assistance.
